Donate to Community Celebration of Place

Since 1998, Community Celebration of Place has honored hundreds of elders from every continent of the world through our Elders' Wisdom, Children's Song program.

Each year we continue to expand the Elders' Wisdom, Children's Song process in Minnesota schools and neighboring communities. We also host a yearly celebration called Youth and Elders Circle. Our goal is to help foster a better learning environment where the face of every child is represented.

Through these programs and others, we continue to work with artists, teachers and community organizations to incorporate this process into school curriculums and community life. With your continued support we can keep this work alive, as well as preserve these life stories and make them freely available online for generations to come.

Please consider making a donation online now. If you prefer, donations may also be mailed directly to:

I had the most awesome musical experience of my life—when I heard the fourth grade children at Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion school sing “Your Song” honoring our Elders! One of the elders was my son John. WHAT A SONG!

Thank You, Jack Tschida
