Ridgeway kids, elders, in song

Students at Ridgeway Community School immortalized community elders with song last week in a program that brought them closer to music and the people who helped Ridgeway thrive over the years.
Enchanting stories about growing up in Ridgeway formed the backbone for songs written by Ridgeway students to honor their elders in the community.
The project, called Elders’ Wisdom, Children’s Song, was done in conjunction with grants and donations aimed at helping school children grow both in their musical acumen and their understanding of the people who helped make the community what it is today.
